General Information

  • Vitalan is fully soluble in water, safe and non-toxic.
  • Recommended use rate is 15 grams per cow per day.
  • Best dosing methods are direct drench or in-line dosing of the water supply.
  • Store in a dry place free from birds and vermin.
  • Always add Vitalan to water to prevent lumping.
  • Allow to stand for 30 minutes after mixing to ensure all product is dissolved.
  • Undissolved product can cause line plugging.
  • Vitalan is compatible with all other drench products.

In-Line Dosing

  • Mix 1.5 kilos Vitalan per 100 cows into 20 litres of warm water.
  • Allow to stand for thirty minutes.
  • Dispense at the rate of 2 litres per 100 litres of water.

Direct Drenching

  • Mix 15 grams into 75 mls warm water per cow
  • A 4 litre tank will dose 50 cows at this ratio.
  • Allow to stand for 30 minutes to fully dissolve.
  • Vitalan will not affect other drench additives.
